TYRES
It is critical that you drive on tyres that are in good condition: simply put, worn tyres compromise handling, extend braking distances and lead to the risk of aquaplaning on wet roads. So it's important to always respect the wear indicator on your tyres.
PEUGEOT offers a large range of tyres: from all brands, at different price points, and suited to the age of your vehicle and your driving conditions.

PEUGEOT IS HERE TO HELP
- Check your tyre pressure once a month and before all long journeys. It's best to do it when the tyres are cold. Under-inflation reduces the lifespan of your tyres, increases fuel consumption and compromises the road handling of your vehicle.
- The pressure recommended by the manufacturer of your vehicle is shown in the driver-side door opening and in the user manual.
- Regularly check the wear on your tyres by looking at the wear indicator.
- Tyres that have bulges, cracking, cuts, foreign bodies or irregular wear should be checked by an approved repairer.
- No matter what, tyres should be checked every five years regardless of their mileage and the depth of the tread. And don't forget the spare wheel. You safety depends on it. An annual car MOT is especially strict when it comes to checking the condition of tyres and wheels.
- For vehicles with 4-wheel drive, it is recommended to replace all 4 tyres simultaneously
- The visual inspection of your tyres by a PEUGEOT professional can enable him to identify wear on other safety elements: suspension, alignment, etc. Have your tyres checked by a PEUGEOT expert.
WINTER TYRES
You can choose to change your tyres according to the season
Below 7°C, summer tyres will no longer guarantee sufficient grip: the rubber hardens and performance decreases. They therefore need to be replaced with winter tyres. Fitting a set of winter wheels is the most economical solution in the long term. Your PEUGEOT garage has a wide range of winter tyres adapted to your vehicle.
PEUGEOT is here to help
- Contrary to what you may have heard, the special rubber used in winter tyres is just as durable as the rubber in summer tyres.
- When not in use, just as for summer tyres, winter tyres need to be stored carefully in order to maintain their efficacy. Contact your PEUGEOT Service sales advisor about storing your tyres at the Tyre Hotel.
PEUGEOT Service also offers a range of snow chains and snow socks for your tyres.
Storing your tyres according to the season
Between 2 uses, like summer tyres, they must be stored carefully to maintain their efficiency.
PEUGEOT has set up a Peugeot tyre hotel storage solution, offering you 2 storage possibilities:
- either for one season of your choice (6-month duration)
- or for the whole year (12-month duration)
We ensure the cleaning, wear monitoring and storage of your tyres in optimum conditions related to temperature, moisture and light, and will give you advance notice of when it is time to swap them over.
