FIRST MANUFACTURING DIVERSIFICATION
PEUGEOT Frères began manufacturing hand tools for all trades.
1840
COFFEE GRINDER MANUFACTURING
PEUGEOT began manufacturing coffee grinders for domestic and commercial use (grocery shops, cafés, etc.). Although licence rights have now been transferred, the coffee grinders are still made today with the original mechanism.
1852
STEEL CRINOLINE MANUFACTURING
8.5 tonnes of crinolines in steel, instead of the traditional and more fragile wicker, were produced every month.
1933
ELECTRIC TOOLS
Manufacturing of PEUGEOT electric tools ceased in 1986.

CREATION OF THE PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB
PEUGEOT opened its innovative design studio to external, non-automotive customers.
