PEUGEOT Magazine:
What is your definition of Allure, and how does it manifest itself in your designs?
Emeric Tchatchoua: For me, Allure is a way of life, a natural elegance, both in appearance and behavior. It's expressed in the cut, material and details of the garments. At 3.PARADIS, we pay particular attention to volumes, silhouettes and the small details that add a unique touch to each creation.
PM:
How do you source your materials, and were you inspired by the fabrics used at PEUGEOT?
ET: I source mainly from French suppliers, as local know-how is important to us, both for reasons of quality and durability. We're also inspired by rich textures and automotive materials like those I saw in the 408 we had during Paris Fashion Week, particularly its smooth leather. I thought the stitching finish was beautiful. I found it very chic and luxurious.

Do the cars influence your designs?
ET: Absolutely. The curves of cars often inspire the cuts of my clothes. Details I've observed in cars such as seams or materials directly influence my collections, especially denim or quilted pieces.
PM:
How might your work in fashion influence the automotive industry?
ET: Storytelling is something our worlds have in common. Fashion, like cars, tells a story and makes people dream. The technologies we use, such as 3D printing, or the graphic aspect of clothes can also inspire the interior design of cars.

What do you like about working with PEUGEOT?
ET: I appreciate PEUGEOT's commitment to responsible causes and electrification, which is in line with our forward-looking vision. 3.PARADIS is the brand that looks to the future, our stance is truly “a brand for today and tomorrow”. I found that PEUGEOT had this same mindset and same way of doing things. Our shared values, such as elegance and innovation comes together and that's what makes this collaboration a natural fit.
I also love Mathias, I really like the way he produces. We had a similar way of creating, “how can we put design at the service of society?” and it's the same for 3.PARADIS.

What advice would you give to a young designer?
ET: Be yourself, be authentic. Your design should reflect your uniqueness, because that's what makes your work unique.
PM:
How do you see 3.PARADIS evolving?
ET: 3.PARADIS is more than a fashion brand. We want to explore other means of expression and offer people a 360° experience, while remaining rooted in fashion and an entry point to creativity.
